I was 14 years old when David Cameron and the Tories came into power and since then, we have seen scandal after scandal and utter chaos which has left people in Leicester West worse off and forgotten.

I was born in Leicester, educated in Leicester and now run a business that employs young talented people in Leicester.

We have been let down by the Tories nationally and Labour locally. I want to fight for local residents to get a better deal from Westminster as well as in Leicester.

Most importantly, I want to serve you and not just follow the ‘party line’. Local people in Leicester have suffered at the hands of politicians making decisions to please donors and party leaders.

The people of Leicester deserve better; I want to build a brighter future for Leicester West

What I Will Do For You

Fight the cost of living crisis

The Tories have decimated our economy and Labour has no plan to fix it. I will fight for higher living wages, a reintroduction of energy grants and discounts as well as fighting for an economic plan that backs hard-working people.

Create jobs in Leicester West

I will work to increase investment into Leicester and create job opportunities for local people, especially in the green economy. We want to create a thriving economy that encourages businesses to employ local people at a living wage and contribute to the local community.

Make our streets safe

I pledge to fight for more police officers in our communities, an increase in support to reduce violence (especially against women and girls) and more investment in our young people so they can have a positive future.

Fix our broken NHS

That means fighting for an NHS that delivers what you need when you need it. We must invest in our NHS and the people that save lives every day. I will also back any government plan to renationalise our health service and implement universal free dental care.

Fight for better youth provision

We want to see meaningful investment into our education system so teachers can prepare our young people for life. I will fight for investment in youth services and increase opportunities for young people to develop new skills and make a positive impact on society.

Be responsive & in the constituency

You've told me on the doorstep that you never see or hear from your current MP. I believe that you deserve an MP that you can speak to, see and engage with. I pledge to spend my time in Leicester instead of playing party politics in Westminster.
